We took a four mile jaunt along the Big Shoals Trail running beside the
Suwannee River today. Hot and sticky but not too bad. River is very low –
dry season. Hard to see the river through the growth much of the time but
the glimpses were beautiful. And what is it about Spanish moss? Something
beautifully ancient and ghostly.
